Laboratories

The department has developed state-of-the art laboratories in areas such as Electronics, Electrical Circuits, Telecommunications, Microwaves, Microprocessors, Digital Electronics, Antenna, VLSI & DSP

Electronics Workshop Lab-This lab deals with the basic concepts/characteristics of electronics devices and identification of different components used in electronic circuit.

It is equipped with following kits:

  1. Display Board on different Resistors
  2. Display Board on different Capacitors
  3. Display Board on different Switches
  4. Display Board on different Diodes
  5. Display Board on different Relays
  6. Display Board on different Semiconductor Devices.
  7. Display Board on different Transistors
  8. Display Board on different Connectors
  9. Display Board on different IC’s
  10. Transistor Characteristics Kit
  11. Diode Characteristics Kit
  12. Zener Voltage Regulator Kit
  13. Solar Energy Trainer
  14. CROs-30 MHz
  15. Function Generators-10 MHz
  16. Analog and Digital Multimeters etc.

Basic Electronics Lab-This lab deals with the basic characteristics of semiconductor devices.

It is equipped with following kits-

  1. Characteristics of P-N junction diode.
  2. Characteristics of Transistors.
  3. Characteristics of Zener diode.
  4. Characteristics of FET.
  5. Characteristics of MOSFET.
  6. Characteristics of Single stage amplifier.
  7. CROs-30 MHz
  8. Function Generators-10 MHz etc.

Analog Electronics Lab- This lab deals with the characteristics of linear and non linear electronic devices like Op-Amp, Multivibrators, Oscillators and filters etc.

It is equipped with following kits and electronic devices-

  1. active filter  kit for AMV, BMV, MMV
  2. inverter  & non- inverter–Op-Amp kit
  3. voltage to current converter kit
  4. current to voltage converter kit,
  5. op-amp differentiator &  integrator-kit
  6. op-amp-study-kit
  7. op-amp-comparator-kit
  8. Phase Shift Oscillator kit
  9. UJT Oscillator kit
  10. CROs-30 MHz
  11. Function Generators-10 MHz etc.

Digital and Microprocessor Lab- This lab deals with the applications of digital devices and their concepts. It also includes microprocessors and microcontroller kit with different types of interfacing

It is equipped with following equipments-

  1. A/D Converter

  3. Voltage Comparator
  4. Digital Trainer kit
  5. Decimal to BCD encoder kit
  6. De-Morgan theorem kit

Communication Lab- This lab covers all the practical aspects of a communication system which is basically used in theoretical concepts

Software Lab- This lab is equipped with software used for analog and digital circuit design, VLSI Design etc.

PCB and Antenna Design Lab- This lab consists of all equipments used for PCB designing as well as softwares for PCB and antenna designing like-

  1. PCAAD Antenna Design Software Version 6.0
  2. EDWIN XP Version 1.80(15 Users)

Project and Research Lab- In this lab we have the facility to prepare projects of any types in which we have work bench with all types of measuring equipments built into it. For research work our faculties and students use different softwares which are available in our labs used for their respective areas.
